The client desired an attractive kitchen countertop with an easy to maintain, non-porous quartz surface. The vibrant but understated color of mulberry mist was the last finish specified and the icing on the cake. The plum colored island countertop became the focal point in the room and reflected the local rock colors of slate gray, and purple plum with touches of celadon green. To create high contrast, mulberry mist countertops were placed on the cream-colored cabinets, and champagne limestone countertops were placed on the gray cabinets. The client, an avid cook, is delighted with her low maintenance, beautiful kitchen.  The satin nickel pendant light fixtures are subtle, streamlined design elements that provide task and accent lighting.
