As avid travelers for business and pleasure, the clients downsized and needed to coordinate acquired sentimental treasures from around the world with family heirlooms and new contemporary furnishings.  The clean lines of the new sofa, glass and brass end tables and mouth-blown art glass lamps coordinate well with the Persian rug, the intricately carved Indian chest, and the carved wall plaque. The colors in the wall art, the pillows, and the custom striped window treatments enliven the space against the neutral colored furnishings and wood earth tones. The overall appearance of the room creates a relaxing atmosphere where the couple can unwind and socialize with friends and family.
