Light & Bright

New Renovated Kitchen, West Chester, PA
In our last post, we blended family heirlooms with new furnishings in the living room and dining room. The clients downsized from a large house in Chadds Ford to a West Chester carriage house. The existing kitchen was dark due to the north side orientation and the deep cherry cabinetry. To brighten the room, we selected white transitional cabinetry, light green quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances and hardware.

The natural and artificial light is reflecting off the white surfaces creating a cheerful space, even on a cloudy day in February. The deep drawers in the island provide convenient access to large pots and heavy bowls, eliminating the need to reach shelving overhead. Our clients saw the light. You can do the same.
